Several important buildings/structures were inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri O.Ibobi Singh, as shown below
· The Manipur Olympic Bhavan was constructed with a total cost Rs. 4.82 crores under SPA. The Bhavan was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Manipur Shri O. Ibobi Singh on the 30th November, 2011. The Bhavan is a big step forward for promoting games and sports in the state.
· Tampha Keithel of Yairipok was inaugurated on the 26th October 2011. The market was constructed by the Manipur Development Society (MDS)
· Yairipok Bridge, constructed under SPA at a cost of Rs.586.00 lakhs, was inaugurated on the October 2011.
· The new building of Community Health Centre, Yairipok, was inaugurated on the 26th October, 2011. The total cost of construction is Rs.176.67 lakhs.
· Newly constructed office building of Planning Department, Manipur inaugurated on the 27th October, 2011. The building was constructed by Manipur Development Society with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.59 crores.
· The Mayang Imphal Market Complex (Imoinu Shopping) was inaugurated on the 10th October, 2011. The project was executed by the PDA with funding from MAHUD Department with an estimated cost of Rs.468.13 lakhs
· Election to the 10 ADC Constituencies (8 in Senapati and 2 in Ukhrul Districts) which could not be held during the general ADC elections were held on the 24th October, 2011. Reception ceremony of 10(ten) newly elected ADC Members at District Council Bhavan, Chingmeirong held on the 9th November, 2011.
· The Thoubal Shopping Complex was constructed with the financial assistance from the Ministry of Urban Development, Govt., of India. The construction is done by the state PWD and is now ready for inauguration.
